Bro. Curtis Alan Banks

is a Past Master of Allied Lodge no. 1170 in the 6th Manhattan District under the Grand Lodge of the State of New York.

He was raised in Allied Lodge in 1998 and has been active there ever since.  He currently serves the Grand Lodge as it’s Grand Director of Ceremonies assigned to the 6th Manhattan District to promote the Educational umbrella opportunities to the lodges and it’s members under the leadership of The M:.W:. Vincent Libone, Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York.

Bro. Banks is also active in the AASR in the Valley of NYC where he received the 33rd degree in 2008 and has served as it’s Valley’s Past TPM & SP in addition to working closely with the Deputy’s Representative as it’s Regional and State Membership Chairman.

Bro. Banks is also active in the York Rite Bodies having served in the Royal Arch as Past High Priest and currently the Grand Representative to the Prince Hall Grand Chapter of NY, Past Illustrious Master and currently serving on the Grand Cryptic Line as it’s Grand Steward, and the present Commander for Bay Ridge Commandery No. 79, Knights Templars.

Most of Bro. Bank’s talks and education are such that they remain on the “level” to allow the Entered Apprentice and Fellowcraft brothers to receive further light, at the will of the master(s), beyond that of the individual proficiency testing.  Bro. Banks is married to Sister Katrina Banks where he serves with her as her Patron in the Order of the Eastern Star.

Bros. Averill Thompson & Oswaldo Rivera

are members of Allied Lodge no. 1170 in the 6th Manhattan District under the Grand Lodge of the State of New York.  Both brothers are fairly new to the craft being raised last year in 2011 but have already travelled to visit with other brothers and lodges in the states of FL, MD & DC to share with them the ideas, ideals and principles of our time honored institution.  They were privileged to have performed ritual only having been raised in less than a month’s time!  Both brothers vocations are and keep them busy but at the same time allowing them to serve our craft!

Both of these brothers have given and prepared this intense lecture and I am just so proud to not only having the privilege of sponsoring both of them, but to have them allow me to work in conjunction with them as well in presenting it.
